Cat offers various healing modalities to relieve stress and improve circulation, leaving you pampered and renewed. Clients can add essential oil therapy to their massage and therapeutic touch healing sessions. She also crafts custom blends which can be enjoyed as an oil, a lotion or a bath salt. From deep release in sports or Myofascial release massage to healing touch therapy or Reiki, this is a sanctuary for renewal.

Massage Treatments

Cat offers deep tissue massage and hot stone massage. She also specializes in a massage modality called Myofascial Release. This therapeutic form of massage releases and realigns postural distortions that arise from injury, trauma and repetitive-motion stress.

Reiki

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words: Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you.

What is Reiki?

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Reiki is a simple laying-on-of-hands healing methodology. It is the channeling of higher energy through an individual, allowing them to impart that energy as a profound act of healing, opening, and releasing. This energy supports and heals the emotional, mental and physical body and can restore the natural energy flow, clear blockages and allow the body to heal on its own - bringing new insight into your spiritual and mental well being. Each healing session is unique, and every individual will experience Reiki differently. Reiki does not adhere to any dogma, and practitioners need not embrace any specific belief system. Reiki healers come from all walks of life and many different philosophical and spiritual backgrounds.

Reiki has enriched Cat's life immeasurably, and it is with joy and a sense of service she shares reiki on the Central Coast. She also offers therapeutic reiki sessions for pets.

Grace-full Healing & Knowing Touch

Cat's latest work with the energy body is Grace­Full Healing:

Grace­Full Healing is a form of Reiki combined with listening. Cat will listen to the physical body as well as the energetic body, and then ask for assistance from Ascended Masters and Enlightened Beings to guide her client in the art of healing. "What transpires never ceases to amaze and astound me. The very idea that I would be used in this way, be a witness to such spectacular wisdom, humbles me. I’ve received messages from ancestors, angels, archangels, saints, deities, and even some messengers I didn’t think I believed in. They work through me, speak through me, heal through me...all for the Highest Good." Grace-Full Healing through Cat shares messages of hope and change, reminding the client of how the dis­ease was created in the first place and how it might be reversed, released and healed.

Myofascial Release & Massage Bodywork

Myofascial Bodywork is beneficial in relieving long term, deep seated pain by allowing the nerves and muscles that they support to come back to their natural state of wellness, providing long term results for chronic conditions.

About Cat Rhyne

Physiological & Spiritual Healer

Growing up on Galveston Bay in Texas, Cat is definitely a water baby. Whether living on Saint Simons Island, Georgia or in Cambria, California, her preferred habitat is a small, coastal community. Cat was an alcohol and drug abuse counselor before getting her massage license in 1994. While working with students and parents alike, she recognized how many memories we hold in the physical body. Having done massage for family and friends since the age of 18, she decided to dedicate herself to helping people heal on all levels. That led her on a quest that included massage therapy training, Reiki Master certification, Thai/Yoga studies, vipassana, and world travel. She has been blessed to study with Masters and healers around the US as well as Thailand, New Zealand and Bali. In fact, Cat has travelled many parts of the world seeking healing tools for herself and others.

After starting to work with Reiki, Cat realized her hands were able to transmit messages about how the clients' dis-ease had manifested out of physical/emotional/spiritual concerns. And that Angels/Enlightened Masters wanted to communicate with the clients through her. From that realization, she began to heal from a deeper, more conscious - sacred space. "You can't imagine how different this is from the belief system I grew up with...it took me a while to trust that these messages were real. After feeling their (the clients) pain empathically, and then having it dissipate once I shared the message, I became a believer. Now my agreement with the guides is that I share whatever I am shown regardless. The message is for the person I am working with, and not for me to judge."

Reiki Classes

Cat is an Usui/Holy Fire II, Karuna Reiki Master Teacher. An amazingly simple technique to learn, the ability to use Reiki is not taught in the usual sense, but is transferred to the student during a Reiki class. This ability is passed on during an "attunement" given by a Reiki master and allows the student to tap into an unlimited supply of "life force energy" to improve one's health and enhance the quality of life.

Reiki's use is not dependent on one's intellectual capacity or spiritual development and therefore is available to everyone. It has been successfully taught to thousands of people of all ages and backgrounds.

  • 2-Day Workshop
  • The beginner Reiki workshop focuses on the history of this ancient healing art and how to perform it. You'll receive a manual outlining Reiki's ethics and how to use Reiki to heal yourself, others, pets and objects. There will be four attunements given. Students will have space to practice on themselves and others.

  • 2-Day Workshop
  • In Reiki II, the student learns three symbols for enhancing what was learned in Reiki I. You will also learn to do long distance Reiki as well as healing for emotional/mental issues. There are two attunements and you will practice your skills with other students and practitioners.

  • One Day Master Class Intensive
  • The advanced student will be instructed in the attunement process and will be trained in teaching Reiki. There will be one more attunement received and practice sessions for giving attunements. Advanced symbols will be shared for healing situations and for completing the attunement process.
